Biography
I’m an advocate for Responsible Management Education, committed to preparing responsible citizens and leaders to navigate the global challenges facing humanity and the planet. My teaching and research are shaped by ongoing questions: What does responsible management look like in a time of climate crisis and rapid technological change? How should our students respond to the ethical challenges posed by the AI revolution? And how can Business Schools meaningfully support students to be better prepared for their future?
Recognising the complexity of these challenges, I’ve increasingly focused on systems thinking as a key competence to nurture in our students. I embed this approach into the modules I lead—Sustainability and Ethics in Global Supply Chains and The Digital Economy—as part of a broader effort to align business education with real-world problems. I’m also deeply interested in circular supply chains and the skills needed for an inclusive and just transition. I’ve secured funding for projects to deepen our understanding of responsible supply chain practices and to enhance graduate preparedness for the demands of a digital work environment.
I have a PhD in Business and Management from Nottingham University Business School and a MSc in Information Systems Management from the University of Sheffield. I’ve been teaching in HE since 2018. Additionally, I have 8 years of industry experience as ERP Consultant, Business Process Analyst and Project Manager. I'm a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Certified Management & Business Educator. I’m also a Climate Fresk Facilitator and Certified Carbon Literate.

Research interests
I’m interested in the following topics: circular supply chains, the skills and competencies needed for an inclusive transition to circular systems, and how (and if) supply chains can operate within planetary boundaries. I welcome PhD applications with an interest in empirical research that aligns with these areas.
